About the Author
Gillian Hick was born in Dublin and has practised as a vet both in Dublin and in Wicklow for the past seven years. She also works for the Irish Blue Cross. She lives in Co. Wicklow, where she has her own practice, with her husband, three children, and a large assortment of four-legged companions.

THIS BOOK ALONG WITH THE FRIST ONE IS GREAT FUN AND SO FUNNY.

I JUST LOVED VET AMONG THE PIGEONS. DOCTOR HICK IS SO HILARIOUS. I JUST LOVED BOTH OF HER HILARIOUS BOOKS CAN'T WAIT FOR THE THIRD ONE WILL BE THRILLED WHEN IT COMES OUT. SHE IS A WONDERFUL STORY TELLER. AND SO FULL OF LOVE FOR ALL ANIMALS. AND PEOPLE TOO. ANYONE WILL LOVE READING THESE TWO HILARIOUS BOOKS. LIKE I DID. HER STORIES HAD ME LAUGHING UNTIL I CRIED. AND YOU WILL JUST LOVE THESE TWO DELIGHTFUL BOOKS.

As entertaining and insightful as Gillian Hick's previous book I have and read. I enjoy her writing and truthfulness very much I recommend this author to all who are interested in Veterinary work and the life of a Vet.

Great read

I just finished reading this and found it to be really enjoyable. Gillian describes her many adventures as a vet with great detail and sensitivity. There are some sad stories, but most of them are funny or just plain weird. I hope she writes more books soon!
