Wonderful! Great guide to the somewhat confusing Beloved by Toni Morrison. This book (Ms. Morrison's) has so many characters, in so many orders (present, past, flashback, stream of consciousness...) that this guide has been a great aid! Don't miss this book, it's really fantastic, even tho' sad, horrific and revealing at the same time. The Max notes really help you to understand the msg. that Morrison is trying to get across. Absolutely necessary!
